Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara intonasi vokal dan tingkat kepercayaan diri mahasiswa selama diskusi kelompok daring. Dengan latar belakang pergeseran signifikan ke pembelajaran daring, faktor-faktor komunikatif non‑verbal seperti intonasi menjadi semakin penting dalam membangun kepercayaan diri peserta. Studi kuantitatif‐kualitatif ini melibatkan 214 mahasiswa program Sarjana di tiga universitas terkemuka di Indonesia. Data intonasi diukur menggunakan analisis prosodi otomatis (Praat) yang menghasilkan nilai pitch‑range, mean‑pitch, serta variasi energi suara. Tingkat kepercayaan diri diukur dengan Skala Kepercayaan Diri dalam Diskusi (Self‑Confidence in Discussion Scale, SCDS) yang telah divalidasi. Analisis regresi hierarkis menunjukkan bahwa pitch‑range (β = 0.31, p < .001) dan variasi energi (β = 0.24, p = .004) secara positif memprediksi skor kepercayaan diri, bahkan setelah mengontrol variabel demografis dan kecerdasan emosional. Temuan kualitatif mendukung hasil kuantitatif; mahasiswa yang menggunakan intonasi lebih variatif melaporkan persepsi diri yang lebih kuat dan lebih aktif berpartisipasi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur psikologi pendidikan dengan memperkenalkan variabel prosodik sebagai indikator psikologis dalam konteks daring, serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi desain intervensi pelatihan komunikasi vokal untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa.
